(i)      short term management skills,

(ii)     long term management skills,

(iii)    therapeutic skills,

(iv)    preventive care & self care   

        information,

(v)     ethics, law, & professionalism

d)     50 case diary commentary & oral examination  – continued

e)     The clinical examination – long cases (2) and short cases (4)

f)      How to prepare for MMed Exam. Q & A

5 out of 6 sessions:

Clinical skills sessions –

10 out of 12 sessions each 2 hours

The learning objectives are

a)    to be proficient in holistic, integrated case approach, and

b)    to be proficient in the clinical approach and examination of the various organ systems and patient groups.

Clinical Case Conferences – 5 out of 6 sessions

(i)      CVS, Respiratory

(ii)     Abdomen, Haematology

(iii)    Joints – Rheumatology, Orthopaedics

(iv)    Neurology

(v)     O& G

(vi)    Paediatrics including DA

5 out of 6 sessions

Audit Course Workshop –

2 sessions.

Candidates are required to submit a audit case report and this will be examined in the oral examination

Attend both sessions. Should not miss any.

Medical Ethics, Professionalism and Health Law Course – 2.5 day course conducted by SMA.

This is a course with emphasis on ethics and law.
