Welcome To The Family Medicine Residency Advisory Committee

The Family Medicine Residency Advisory Committee (FMRAC) was appointed in April 2010 by MOH to collaborate with the Ministry and ACGME-I to determine the standards, the program structure and curriculum for FM residency. MOH is enhancing postgraduate medical education through more structured and formative training. The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education International (ACGME-I) has been engaged to assist in the development and accreditation of residency programs.

Family Medicine Programs

Medical studentsThe Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) was started in 1992 for doctors working under the public healthcare sector, with the objective of providing them with a broad range of multidisciplinary core knowledge and practical skills. Over the years, the MMed (FM) has evolved to enrich doctors with different sets of qualifications and skills for managing a variety of patients within the community.
